Tuesday, 23 October 2012. The children used simple techniques to create Autumn Trees. There is no use of pencils or paintbrushes in this lesson. The children used their palms to create the branches of the trees, sponge for the trunk and their fingers with red, green and yellow paint for the leaves. I am the Music Man.

Ms. Dunnes Class

Here are some pictures of our parent and child classes which ran twice a week from November to June. Some Junior Infant children and their parents worked with me learning lots of new words in English, doing nursery rhymes, maths activities, working on their Jolly Phonics sounds and letter formation. The children also read lots of books in our sessions and at home with Mam and Dad. Thank you Solvita, Kristers, Vera, Ralfs, Zigurds, Monika, Oliwer and Michael! .

We had a fruit salad party yesterday. First we washed our hands. Then we cleaned the table. Then we set the table. We pealed and cut the banana. We pealed the skin off the orange and broke it into pieces. Then we cut some apple. We put some yogurt on the fruit salad. Then we ate the fruit salad.
